university of Miami ABSN Summer 2017

Hello,

The application cycle for University of Miami ABSN for Summer 2017 just opened today. Wondering if anyone is applying! I will be sending my application in a few weeks. Deadline is March 1st. But its rolling admission so the earlier you apply the earlier you hear back! Good luck to everyone. Also if someone is currently a student in the ABSN program, please share your thoughts about the program to help the rest of us who are applying :)

Hey, for CLEP courses you just have to send them your score and they will accept them.

Have any of you heard from the university of Miami yet about the decisions? I know the office opened again January 3rd so I'm getting concerned that I haven't heard anything yet!

Has anyone else got an email from UM about applying for a scholarship they offer for paying for your tuition in exchange for a signing a contract to work at one of UM facilities for 3 years?

My application says incomplete on canelink, but got the email last week..

My application says complete and I got that email also. I heard about the scholarship before but I don't think I would be able to go to Miami early for the interviews which I think are before May. I'm not really sure how it all works though I was interested but am uncertain about it now

Does anyone have an email for admissions? My application still says incomplete and I submitted everything back in November so I'm not sure whats going on, thanks!

I did get that email and when I spoke with someone in admission, she told me that the fact that I received the email means that I have a very good chance of getting admitted. She said the university would not have put me through the inconvenience of feeling out the application, if they had no intention to accept me. Good luck buddy!!!!

if admitted, I would like for us to form study groups. My wife is a nurse and her books are very thick. Given that the program is very intense, there is no way anyone can read and study 3-5 chapters for a test. I'm a very good note taker, but somewhat of a slow reader, I need to be in a study group in order to succeed. So who's with me?????

I would definitely be interested in study groups if accepted!! Has anyone been admitted for summer yet?? I can't wait to know. I'm really starting to worry about it!!

I got an email about the scholarship also but I don't think I can fly out there, I work full time and have so many responsibilities at the moment. I wonder if it would make a difference whether we picked yes or no? I still really want to get into this program.

The waiting game gives me anxiety. I wake up every morning hoping they send out these emails. BTW, does anyone happen to know the breakdown of courses in a semester or is it terms within a semester?
