university of Miami ABSN Summer 2017

The application cycle for University of Miami ABSN for Summer 2017 just opened today. Wondering if anyone is applying! I will be sending my application in a few weeks. Deadline is March 1st. But its rolling admission so the earlier you apply the earlier you hear back! Good luck to everyone. Also if someone is currently a student in the ABSN program, please share your thoughts about the program to help the rest of us who are applying :)

Good Luck, I applied for Spring, but was denied due to the fact I was missing 4 pre-reqs when the board looked over my app. Applying for Summer once fall grades post in early December. The app process is simple with NursingCAS. Just get them your transcripts early, they take a while to verify them.

I was originally planning to apply for spring but am applying for summer now. I'm glad there's a conversation open for summer 2017 right away tho :) I am finishing up my statement of purpose & then I'll be submitting my application this weekend. I want to know right away

I'm applying! I'm just waiting to finish up some pre-reqs next month so that the transcripts will have the final grade.

Awesome! Have you started your Statement of Purpose yet? I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with it but I just don't know how to keep it from being repetitive! Also, does anybody know when they start accepting people? I know it's on a rolling basis but when do the first people get accepted ?

I'm going to start the statement in the next couple of days. I'm just brainstorming right now. Everything else I have filled out, except for waiting on evaluations and transcripts.

From reading other threads, it seems like people start getting accepted pretty early. After the first month or so of when the application period opens.

I started working on my statement last week & I was expecting it to be a lot easier. Now I'm stressing over it! Haha but I'm hoping to get my application finished this weekend because I want to know right away!
