University of Maryland Spring 2010 Accepted Students

Published

Hi all soon to be fellow classmates! I just wanted to start this thread up so we didn't have to go weaving through all of the older stuff on the old threads.

I am really excited about starting school come January, really nervous though too. I have a lot to get done between now and then and sometimes I just don't think there is enough time in the day. Oh well, I plan on enjoying the holidays and working my buns off to save some money so that isn't an additional stressor during the first semester.

So lets post our questions, our thoughts and hopefully just get to know one another! And again....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Well I went to the book store today and the first one is just the book and the second one is a package with the required text book, extra books and the access code for mynursinglab. THe guy at the store said most students buy the big 215$ package since buying the book and access code for mynursinglab separately would end up costing around the same as the package.

Also guys Allheart.com is having doing a 25$ off 119$. If you buy your steth and uniforms now you can save some money.

Hey Scrub,

You know what else you can do? You can share an access code with a friend or classmate to mynursinglab.com

One of my classmates used my code b/c she didn't want to buy her own. You're not supposed to do that technically but oh well...something you might want to consider.

Am I doing something wrong?

If you pull the list up on the UMD of Baltimore bookstore site, there are a more items on the list. I think it's just because the Baltimore bookstore has more items in stock.

There is even an extra book that is "required" that came up on the Baltimore list.... for SG1 students. I too will be attending the shady grove campus, I just happen to pull the list up on the umd bookstore site and noticed the difference. **Makes things more complicated than it needs to be. But oh well.

Thanks very much!! Wow, that list is much bigger..

I just got the call this (Monday) afternoon! I am in for spring 2010 Baltimore campus. So much to do between now and Thursday!

WOOO!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

As for the book do we need Phamacology book at all. Thank you.

Does anyone know if the registrars office will manually register you for classes after Jan 8? I was accepted to the CNL program and I got an email that said this would happen. I did all of the steps I was supposed to do and never was able to register online. Anyone know about this? They must still be registering students since some people just heard they were accepted.

yikes.........

woops nevermind, answered my own question...
