Last year's thread for this program was in full swing by this point with good rumors and nervous applicants. So, how many people out there have applied for the 2014 MEPN program at UHM? I am hoping there are 40 seats and only 40 applicants.
Oh then I don't think I got in since my application was incomplete Does Dr. Jarman handle that one? It was incomplete. I was told my shannon that is a different department that I wasn't applying for and so I ignored the emails. I don't have a RN license so I figured I didn't need to worry about it. I'm still confused.
Yes I applied to graduate department and then received an email from Dr Jarman stating my application was incomplete because my RN license wasn't submitted... which didn't make sense to me since MEPN doesn't require one right?
Just to make it less confusing, was your acceptance letter from Dr. Jarman AND Shannon? Or just from MEPN?
Getting back about resident tuition. "Because everyone's situation is different, you should call 808-956-8975 or 1-800-823-9771 and ask for a residency counselor. He or she will help you determine what action to take and what documents to provide when you become eligible for resident tuition."
Congrats awd36 and cl2014. I'm hoping to see more posts about others here getting their acceptance mail. My good wishes. awd36 and cl2014. I'm wondering if we could stay in touch? I don't know how to do this e-mail perhaps? The acceptance mail indicates that I'm accepted into the dual track FNP/ Adv. Pub.Health. I'll be faxing my confirmation next week. I hope to be there in June for a house hunting trip. I could use all the advice I can get. Please do drop me a line if you get the chance [email protected] thx and again good wishes to others.
Thanks bobsrini! I received a phone call from the director of MEPN who asked me to choose one track or the other - either FNP or PH, since the dual is one hiatus. They will send you a new acceptance letter and Form A indicating what you chose over the phone. You'll have to resend the new Form A. I'm happy to keep in touch - I'll shoot you an e-mail...
I've been meaning to comment ever since I knew this existed (about a month ago) but only now got the chance. First of all congrats to awd36, cl2014, bobsrini and everyone else who has gotten in, and good luck to those who still haven't heard yet. I too have been accepted and got my official letter at the end of December for the dual FNP/APHN track. But due to the hiatus, last week I was given the option of only one or the other and was sent a new letter and Form A for my selection. I'm looking forward to personally meeting you all! Also, thank you msrobinson69600 for answering questions about the program...It's helpful to hear from a current student.

Thanks awd36! I applied late also and after numerous attempts to other programs, I was hopeful but prepared for disappointment. I chose the AG track. I hope you all get good news soon!
