University of Florida DNP Fall 2021

Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to the University of Florida for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP specialty in Pediatric Acute Care. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Any current students that might want to share their experiences with application process, and the current state of the program? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.

This might sound like a silly/dumb question, but if I accept the offer and then back out if UF says yes. Will any of the schools find out about it? And would the other school like black list me? LOL. Somehow I feel nervous that I’d get in trouble. But I know it’s the best thing to do for me because like you said, I don’t want my eggs all in one basket.

I applied for part-time PMHNP in Fall 2021! Fingers crossed for both of us!

That's awesome! I applied for full-time, but I am still in my BSN (I graduate in May)!

I just got off the phone with UF, they said is was a massive amount of applicants and they will likely being letting people know end of April.  FYI
