Hi everybody! I just submitted my application for UC's WHNP Fall 2018 Program. Just curious who else has applied or is planning to apply to any of their Fall 2018 NP/CNM programs. Maybe we can keep each other updated as they start to give out acceptance offers and maybe meet some future classmates. Good luck everyone!

Maybe 2 weeks. I applied for summer but was put in the fall class.

They did not have all my LOR or transcripts by the deadline. They give you 30 days after the deadline to get all those things in. You just must submit and pay by the deadline.

I never took the GRE. Not needed for fnp online

I didn't submit a GRE score either but I applied for the WHNP program not FNP.

Wow, so the deadline was extended and I decided to take the leap! Super nervous, I submitted yesterday for the FNP and nurse educator certificate. I pray my transcripts are verified in sufficient timing. Did everybody's take about a month for transcript entry?? I paid the extra for them to do it. That seems to be the average time...I wish I would have read on here how fast they've been notifying about acceptance.

I applied for the University of Cincinnati FNP program I'm really nervous because I don't have the best GPA. What was everybody's average GPA who got accepted?

Hi Everyone,

I just submitted my U of C application to the online Nurse Midwifery program on May 29th just before the deadline! I am super anxious for a response and trying to be patient. I want to call the admissions personnel so bad to ask for status! It seems the general consensus is about two weeks from the time of submittal for a response from the school...? Has anyone heard back from the Midwifery program? They extended their deadline which is what inclined me to push my application through, although my GPA could be a little higher.

Same here. My gpa is not that great, but I figured it was worth a shot. I am nervous too. I was shocked when they extended the deadline. I am guessing that means not enough applicants applied initially by the first deadline. I submitted my application a week ago. As of today, I am still waiting for my references to submit their recommendation letters. The quicker they do that, the quicker I can get a response. I applied to Frontier also.

I was going to apply to Frontier as well, but I hear they are more competitive and I was nervous about my gpa, so if U of C doesn't accept me I will try with Frontier for the spring. U of C has all my documents so hopefully they can make a quick decision. The anticipation is driving me nuts!
