Hi everybody! I just submitted my application for UC's WHNP Fall 2018 Program. Just curious who else has applied or is planning to apply to any of their Fall 2018 NP/CNM programs. Maybe we can keep each other updated as they start to give out acceptance offers and maybe meet some future classmates. Good luck everyone!

Thank you for the advice mdcRN! I called and asked about deferring but they wanted the deposit (which is 600) to keep my spot. The second option they gave me was to accept the offer and that would give me until July 31 to pay the deposit.

Wow, 600 is a lot! I like the second option better. I am sure you should here from UC by then.

Thanks Terfernay! I think I will do what you suggested and if I get into UC I will politely let the other school know that I will no longer be attending. Both of you guys gave me great advice and I really appreciate it.

Hi,

Anyone accepted to the AGPCNP online program? I'm excited to start!!

Hi Jiggzrn, I am in the AGPCNP program as well!

HI jasmine7478! How is the program so far? I am planning to apply for May 2019 start. Have a serious struggle choosing between WHNP and FNP. I truly want WH, but everyone keeps telling me I'll be more marketable with FNP. My background is 1.5 years med/surg and 7.5 years L&D. What are your thoughts on this? Are you still working during the program? I work part time and have 2 kiddos...I worry that the 3 classes starting out would be too much...maybe I should try for the 7 semester plan? Any info/advice/insight you can share is appreciated!

I start the WHNP program in Fall 2018!

Just found out I was accepted 2 weeks ago
