Hi everybody! I just submitted my application for UC's WHNP Fall 2018 Program. Just curious who else has applied or is planning to apply to any of their Fall 2018 NP/CNM programs. Maybe we can keep each other updated as they start to give out acceptance offers and maybe meet some future classmates. Good luck everyone!
I agree! I would also prefer to have to travel to campus at least once to do a skills check off but I know that there are many other nurses who have completed this program and did just fine so I'm telling myself that I too will be able to succeed if I am able to take opportunities as they arrive, give it my all, and have confidence and faith that it'll all work out.
I decided to apply as well. Waiting for the next step! Did you apply to UofC or just nursingcas?
So you first create an account with NursingCAS. You have to fill out all the different sections to the NursingCAS system and then you can add which schools you want to apply to like UC. Then you start uploading documents and requesting letters of reference through NursingCAS that are required to apply to UC's program. Then once everything is done you can pay to have NursingCAS send your application to UC and then once UC receives your application you have to create an account with them and pay their application fee. It's kind of an expensive lengthy process. Good luck!

Oh sorry. I was incorrect with my last post. The CNM program has 2 campus visits. I just realized you were referring to the WHNP program which doesn't have any campus visits.
