University of Central Florida (UCF) BSN to DNP 2024

Published

Hello! Is anyone planning on applying to any of UCF's BSN-DNP programs? I am applying to the adult/gerontology acute care track and am kind of nervous since it is super competitive. I'm hoping this chat will help ease anxiety and we can all stay connected on the application process and timeline. And if any previous applicants can talk about what they did to boost their chances of getting into the program(s) that would be awesome!

The end of the month will soon be here...hopefully we know soon!🤞

Hey guys! I just received my admissions decision and was accepted into the FNP program for full time! Good luck to everyone<3

What program did you apply for? All three programs may have different timing for decision send outs. So yours may come in tomorrow.

Hey everyone, a little late but I got accepted as well! I'm trying to look at the checklist for new students, is anyone else having issues with myucf working?I graduated from UCF's BSN program a few years back so technically my account has been inactive, and I had to reset my NID password, but does anyone know if I need to get a new knights email/NID? Apparently we have to submit immunization forms, and the system is giving me a rough time 😕

I am also wondering the same, I have the same issue as you where my UCF portal shows an error message, I don't see a schedule builder and it doesn't even let me fully click all the options. I think since we aren't active students anymore, the system is being weird. I also emailed an advisor about this so I will keep you posted. Also does anyone know if we will be given more information regarding courses/materials etc?

If anyone wants me to email them the stuff I received last year when I was accepted, email me. [email protected]. Also, set up your account with castlebranch now. You'll be submitting things to them.

Hi Everyone! I applied last year and got into the Acute Care Track. I wish everyone luck! I believe I received my acceptance letter March 10th if that helps. Also, I did not have much experience as a nurse. I has just graduated UCF's ABSN program Summer of 2022. I started working in a SICU November of 2022, and applied by February 2023. My last day with my preceptor was the day I received my letter. I started in Fall and have a good friend in the FNP track. We had the exact same classics 1st semester and 2/3 classes the 2nd semester...it is so nice having a friend to go through the program with! Also, I have a co-worker who applied this year to Acute Care and 2 past classmates going for FNP from our ABSN cohort. I wish each and every one of you luck. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Thank you! And I did have a question regarding the Ucf emails etc. how did your account change from knights email to the Ucf.edu one? Every time I log in with my NID.ucf.edu, it's saying access denied so do you know if that's normal for now?
