Hello! Is anyone planning on applying to any of UCF's BSN-DNP programs? I am applying to the adult/gerontology acute care track and am kind of nervous since it is super competitive. I'm hoping this chat will help ease anxiety and we can all stay connected on the application process and timeline. And if any previous applicants can talk about what they did to boost their chances of getting into the program(s) that would be awesome!

Hey! I am also applying for the AGACNP track. I am interested to know the statistics and level of experience of fellow applicants. I heard since the GRE has been removed as a requirement, that it has become more competitive. I don't have much experience as a nurse (only been a nurse for a year and some months). I have some leadership and community involvement and have done fairly well in my BSN program. So I am hoping that this will boost my chances of getting in. Good luck to you and anyone else applying!

I just applied to UCF for the FNP track! I'm hoping I will get in! I don't know how accurate it is but UCF has a page on their website called interactive facts where you can narrow down to the program you applied for and it will tell you how many people applied vs got admitted for pervious years! That might ease some people's anxiety!

Good luck! I didn't know about the interactive facts, I will take a look at that! I am super nervous for decisions- March can't come soon enough LOL

Hello all! I am also applying for the AGACNP part-time program at UCF for 2024. I have a year of critical care experience. I did attend the information session back in November and they said that they get brand new BSN students as well as more experienced RNs so it boils down to a mixture of academic and work experience. Good luck to all of us here!

Hi everyone! I applied for the FNP track. I swore I wouldn't be obsessed checking but here I am checking my email 15 times a day even though I've read it'll probably be March. Post when you hear back! Thanks for the infographic tip ucfkw18! Good luck everyone!

Good luck! I was reading through last year's forum and they got their decisions in the first/second week of march around the 8th or 9th. So I guess we'll see ?

Good luck! I heard that as well, but in the information session in November, the advisor said that they're looking to accept an increased amount of students per program due to the rise in applicants. I think she said around 50 per program?? So, that kind of makes me hopeful LOL

Good luck, thank you for this tip! I couldn't find any admission statistic information online, so this was really helpful!

Not yet, but getting more nervous as we get closer to March LOL. Last year's applicants got their email in early March so I guess we have to wait till then ?
