University of Central Florida (UCF) BSN to DNP 2024

Hello! Is anyone planning on applying to any of UCF's BSN-DNP programs? I am applying to the adult/gerontology acute care track and am kind of nervous since it is super competitive. I'm hoping this chat will help ease anxiety and we can all stay connected on the application process and timeline. And if any previous applicants can talk about what they did to boost their chances of getting into the program(s) that would be awesome!

I know that kinda bums me out, I thought they'd send it today. But IDK if the weekend affects the decisions as well otherwise I'm hoping it's by the 10th

Same here. I keep checking while at work but it's not feeling like today is the day 😖

Oh geez well I guess they'll keep us waiting then.. I also applied to UF program but I heard you may not hear anything until April.

Honestly I have no idea but UCF speaks to me more for some reason. Maybe I feel like I might get in or something? Also like the Orlando area as well ...My friends were saying no one wants to go back to school so you should have a high chance LOL. But they are both reputable programs so hoping one will choose me at least :). I am currently traveling and hope I can still do travel nursing while part time on the program. I'm not ready to give up every Friday paychecks LOL.

Has anyone reached out to the college of nursing yet by phone call to see if they have a predicted time for announcing the admissions decisions?

I just called. She said it will be at the end of this month.

Oh my goodness! I wonder why so much later than the previous years 😞 I went and looked and for the last 2 years, they found out by March 11th.

Aw man! I had my mind set on early march for decisions so I am a little disappointed with having to wait for a couple more weeks 😞
