University of Central Florida (UCF) BSN to DNP 2024

Published

Hello! Is anyone planning on applying to any of UCF's BSN-DNP programs? I am applying to the adult/gerontology acute care track and am kind of nervous since it is super competitive. I'm hoping this chat will help ease anxiety and we can all stay connected on the application process and timeline. And if any previous applicants can talk about what they did to boost their chances of getting into the program(s) that would be awesome!

Waitlisted, womp womp. Congratulations everyone!

Waitlisted does not mean denied ! I'll pray you get in 💖. I'm still waiting on another school myself...

I'm noticing that I don't have access to enroll or the email but I guess it is because they are waiting on official transcripts. I'll reset Monday and call if I'm not seeing any movement...don't know if it is too early to register LOL

I am also wondering the same, I have the same issue as you where my UCF portal shows an error message, I don't see a schedule builder and it doesn't even let me fully click all the options. I think since we aren't active students anymore, the system is being weird. I also emailed an advisor about this so I will keep you posted. Also does anyone know if we will be given more information regarding courses/materials etc?

Hi, Im also experiencing the same issue. I was able to create a ID, however I can not access my email ..it gives an error message. As far as enrolling in classes..I'm guessing it is because they need official transcripts. I will see about getting into contact with IT Monday morning if the issue persists. Encountering system glitches...

Hey so my email finally updated to the NID email. I emailed an advisor and they said to give the system at least a week to enroll you as a student. The enrollment day for me is April 5 so that's the earliest I can register. But I think there's some things we have to complete first like submitting castle branch stuff etc. prior to registering for classes.

Thank you ! I'll give it some time then for both email and enroll. Is there a link where we can view what the earliest enrollment date is ?

I think if you search on the main Ucf page it should show the earliest enrollment start date for all students.

Maybe someone can help me. I'm trying to get the clinical requirements hold lifted off my page. I did contact the COL as well as the person in charge of it...however no answer as of yet from the one in charge. I did submit my immunizations through Med Proctor but don't know the next steps.....

I do know that you have to purchase castle branch, there should be an email that was sent to purchase it with access code info. There's more clinical requirements on castle branch to complete. The other thing you have to purchase is leapRN. And there's also another link in the email they sent out which has purchase instructions.

Hi everyone! Interesting in learning more about UCFs DNP program as far as the application process, GPA/statistics, and is it difficult to get into the DNP program? Also, experience/background?

Thanks and congrats to everyone!!
