Hi! Just thought I would create a new topic for all of us applying to UCLA's MECN program this year ?

Good luck to all!
Do you mind telling us what number you were on the waitlist?

Yes of course! I was number 5. Even if you are higher on the waitlist, don't get too discouraged. Sometimes people get accepted and then decide to go to another school. Quite a few people did that when I was applying.
Also for those that didn't get in, keep trying!! There are people in my cohort who applied multiple times before getting in and we are now about to graduate. Stick with it ❤️

When did you hear back from UCLA? I'm number 8 on the waitlist!

I heard back March 2! But I also got my waitlist email on February 12th so don't worry if you don't hear anything by next week. They will notify the waitlist in order as people begin to accept/decline. I believe they give those that were accepted about 10 or so days to let indicate if they are planning on enrolling.

Thank you so much! For those who got in, could you confirm how many days you have to accept your admission offer?

Hello everyone,
I received my acceptance letter at around 9:40am. Really excited to embark on this journey and would love to connect with current and prospective MECN students!
To those of you who are still waiting or whom did not get in, I know at this very moment it sucks and I feel for you. But I want commend your bravery in applying because we all know how stressful it was to even just apply. When one door shuts, another one will open and I am certain more opportunities will come your guys' way.
