I'm applying this cycle as well! The admissions coordinator (not sure I'm allowed to name names on here) said that the 4 things they look at when making a decision are: prereq GPA, cumulative GPA, resume, and essay/video responses. They definitely seem to take a more holistic approach than a few other programs I'm applying to so I think having any strong applicable experience will be an advantage! Good luck!
@AudreySchultz I am not sure but I would hope they understand that many applicants are working and can't tell their employer yet. I selected the same option on my application. @hopefulfuturern1 sorry, I only applied to UB.

Hi everyone! I am taking the prerequisites I need to apply to the University at Buffalo ABSN program, to hopefully start in May 2021. I was wondering if anyone has any idea which types of applicants tend to get in (what kind of experience they have, etc.), and how much they value healthcare experience. Any input at all about the program is greatly appreciated!
