I was accepted to their lpn program and I have all the courses such as english, bio1, psych etc. I just need PNU 190 to start and in my accpetance letter it states I have to wait for an invitation letter for PNU 190. Now ive called and left messages for eveyone I could find but noone can tell me if this course is given evey semester and how long it would take to receive such invitation. Can anyone whose been through this have an answer. I technically dont have any required courses to take this semester. Im thinking of taking A&P 1 cause I plan on continuing for my BSN anyways.

hello to all in this post. i was just trying to conduct some research on programs offered in my area. union county college was one of the practical nursing schools i was looking at. since you guys are there or applying i wanted to see if you had any updates on your progress? do you like the school? how are your classes going? your input means alot. its a really difficult decision to make for me right now. thnx in advance!

im in the program which is 4 semesters long. Its a lot of reading and studying. It goes fast. You need a c average to get into the program in all your prereqs and the first nursing course is only offered in the fall & spring. good luck

Hai,

renee_cal , r u attending Union county college now? i am planning to join for LPN or RN on Jan 2010.

is there a waiting period to get in to the program. if possible, please contact me

[email protected].

hi, i will be starting the LPN to RN also, but it does not begin in Jan 2010 as i was also told by a counselor...email [email protected] if you have any questions ...the program will start in Sept 2010, even though we were all given the wrong info lol

Hi i couldnt figure out how to send a privite message lol, im in 131 at Trinitas and to be honest its not as bad as everyone is saying. Its ALOT of reading!!! Most of the prof are helpful and some are crabby just like any other school. They are somewhat disorganized (adjunct prof. but they are only p/t workers so they are not on top of all the recent changes) If i have a problem or dont understand something I have found that they do want to help. They get annouyed at the students ( you know the kind that talk throughout the lecture, text and always have something to say lol) but what are you going to do they are in every class nursing or not... So far I have a B+ average(and I never repeated any classes) but like I said im working real hard for it. You can def. do it if you really want it and trinitas has a high percent pass rate for the NCLEX on the first try. As far as I know there isnt a waitng for Trinitas if you have good grades in A&P 1 and 2, Chem105 and Eng. your pretty much in. I would like to hear from some students who have graduated recently to find out honestly how the next classes are (besides hard) so I can mentally prepare myself too. Hope I helped you in any way let me know on what you decide and Good Luck

hey wanna b...glad to hear of your positive experience. i just got a letter from ucc in the mail about potentially being accepted to register for nurs130 and that i had to send an e-mail stating which schedule i wanted to choose...i did that, now i have to wait till nxt monday to see if i got thru. can't lie ...all the negative comments really left me uneasy & nervous about this school but it's true when it's said "everyone's experience is different"...i will be doing a commute to ucc (granted i attend) because i live in nyc (thats another worry in itself:eek:)...any other new yorkers attending ucc? would love to hear of your experience(s)...all the best to you all!!!

Congrats!! that letter pretty much states that you are in. I live in NY too so leave yourself plenty of time, traffic stinks and so does the parking lot lol. Dont be nervous just read, read, read and dont stop. Lots of luck to you :)

Anyone know about the LPN-RN program in Trinitas. I plan on starting in Sept. Any advice/comments/info would be helpful! Thanks :)

I'm starting the PN program in september at ucc! Wish me luck. Hope you're all doing well.
