  1. Just wanted to give an update, I have just over a month to finish my BSN and I think I will eventually enroll in a nurse educator program. I think it allows you to advance your knowledge, educate and still focus on a particular specialty. Let us know how things have turned out!
  2. Congrats on getting into maternal child health! How everything is working out for you both?? I am relocating to Boston and would like get get an idea of how you are enjoying the unit? I work in Maternal Child health and have done a few different things since I became and RN in 2012. Currently I'm working in high risk OB and hoping to get a job in L&D but I have no experience in that particular area. I have heard great things about BMC, Bringham & Womens as well as MGH! I'm looking for a unit that is very supportive and with a variety of acuity so I can gain some skills. I'm hoping that my ability to speak Spanish and Portuguese can help that. Also, I will be graduating my BSN program this MAY and I'm super excited!!!!! Any tips, advice would be awesome, also coming from NYC area, I was wondering what the pay range is like? Thanks :)
  3. Empress0511 Wonderful news!! I know that this is somewhat of an old post, but I just wanted to say CONGRATS! Could you provide some tips, advice for fellow nurses who are also interested in sharing this journey. I would love to hear from you and how things are going. keep at it!!! :)
