Uniform badges: which sleeve?

Published

Does your school require the school badge to be sewn to a specific sleeve of your clinical uniform? Is there a standard side to which badges are sewn?

I had just sat down to put mine on and realized I had no idea!

Thanks for your help.

I've seen most on the left but I don't know if that's standard!! Good luck!!

Our patches are sewn on the right shoulder/sleeve

Check your student handbook if you have one… my school require the school badge to be sewn on left side...

Good luck! :)

My school requires them to be sewn on the left side.

mine is on the left side

My school requires us to sew it on the left shoulder.

See if your school has a webpage that shows nursing students and take a look there. Just make sure (from other things in the picture) that the picture wasn't reversed.

Good luck with your sewing.

I'm a student nurse and we are to wear them on the Left. Forego sewing them on, buy some of that fast stictch glue and sglue them on, mine have withstood many washings. When and if they start loosening, i'll be squirting more of it around the edges, no way would i sew those things on. LOL ( some fellow students actually attached them with velcro strips, notrecommended)

Thank you for the input!

I read in my student handbook that the badges should go on the left sleeve, one inch below the shoulder seam.

Ours comes with the badge already sewn in....on the left. :)
