Uniform badges: which sleeve?

Published

Does your school require the school badge to be sewn to a specific sleeve of your clinical uniform? Is there a standard side to which badges are sewn?

I had just sat down to put mine on and realized I had no idea!

Thanks for your help.

Ours are on the left. I'm a total sewing dweeb so I took my badge and jacket to a dry cleaner and had it sewn on there for a nominal amount.

my school requires the patch to be sewn onto the left sleeve in the deltoid area.

Left sleeve, same as nearly everyone else here (and for the patches for nearly every school I've seen).

To look extra spiffy, the top of the patch should be no more than one quarter-inch from the top seam of the sleeve at the shoulder. However, if your school has different and/or more strict guidelines than that, you should follow them instead.
