I haven't seen a thread for the UNF 2012 Accelerated BSN yet so i figured I would create one. The previous classes seemed like they got a lot out of sharing with one another so hopeful we can do the same. Feel free to share any information you have, where you are in the application process or just any woes or worries. Let try to help each other along in this stressful process.

Ladies and gents! PARTY PEOPLE!

YAAAYYY! My name is ALLIE! This is my first post as an applicant to this program! Finally finished all of my applying! I applied to UNF, UCF and UF...After taking a look at all of your stats, I'm a little intimidated but, not totally discouraged.

I'm a single mommy. Have a baby boy who's about to turn one and I'm about to finish undergrad. I'm 22 and a PoliSci major. I'm excited about possibly getting into this program.

My stats are as follows:

3.64 overall GPA

IDK my pre-req GPA but, I got like an A in Sociology and Chem, A- in Human Growth, B's in Anatomy and Micro and a C+ in Stats. I know! I JUST NEVER COULD GET STATS! Wasn't for me!

My TEAS scores were: Reading: 81, Math:100 WOOT WOOT!, Science: 72.9 :( KILLER! and English was an 80. So it looks like the math balanced out the science and my average was something over a 320...

Anyone else tired of waiting already? I know it is not even February yet, but I cannot wait to hear if I have been invited to the interview. By the way, has anyone thought about what they are going to wear should they get to the interview stage of this application game?

I second that! I am trying to patiently wait but, I'm nervous about how I match up to the other candidates. I have only applied to three schools so, my chances of getting into one of them is still kind of low. But, I'm excited because, if admitted I would get to move to Jacksonville, which I would LOVE! I hope that I see all of you, if we get admitted & we can look back and crack up about all of the stress and doubts that we have right now. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

I third that. This website definitely helps deal with the stress of not knowing. It is getting to be the time where everyone starts posting that they were invited for an interview or not. I wish the best of luck to all! Just out of curiosity what kind of degree is everybody coming in with? I have a BS in Nutrition and Food Sciences.

I have a BA in education. I have been teaching high school English for too many years. I cannot wait to change into a nursing career.

Hey guys

Getting down to the wire. The suspense is killing me as well. Hopefully we will hear soon.

I'm currently having a problem getting UNF to update my degree evaluation with the 3 prereqs I just finished in December. They have received my transcripts and I have sent a few emails to the SON admissions staff but all I keep hearing is "as soon as we get to it". Ugh frustrating.

I graduated with a BS in Health Care Admin.

Anyway letters should be out in the next week or so. Good luck everyone.

Oh I have a BA in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology

But I also just graduated with a Master's in Public Administration.....
