2012 UNF Accelerated BSN Hopefuls

Hey Everyone-

I haven't seen a thread for the UNF 2012 Accelerated BSN yet so i figured I would create one. The previous classes seemed like they got a lot out of sharing with one another so hopeful we can do the same. Feel free to share any information you have, where you are in the application process or just any woes or worries. Let try to help each other along in this stressful process.

I did the same. I wonder if we will be notified when/if/how many of those being bumped are moved up....even if we aren't part of that group.

Did you join the facebook group created for our cohort (traditional)? She did tell us that she bumped up one person and called someone off the waitlist. No specifics were given. Since the deadline to RSVP is today, I am staying close to my phone.

I haven't had a chance to look at the Facebook yet. Maybe more than 17 ended up accepting into the accelerated by the deadline. I'm staying close to my phone too! Keep me posted if you hear anything. :-) good luck!

Congrats to all UNF acceptances! Did anyone on this board apply to UCF too and decline your spot? I am wait list and trying to stay positive and have a peace-of-mind with this waiting game.

Anyone know what the schedule is for the nursing program at UNF? Is it just days, or are there night and weekends as well?

The classes are all during the week, but some may start at 8 a.m. and some won't end till 8 p.m. You will need to sign up for screenings out in the community. Some of these are on Saturdays, but there are some during the week as well. You will have choices, but it is really a full time program.
