Okkk...Sweettooth in the house! Ate three cups of fro-yogurt today because of the anxiety! :) I saw a rant on here about the inconvenience of the late letters taking so long to reach residences. I am not trying to offend anybody but, I must say that even though UF has taken a little longer than expected, a) this IS the first SUMMER start for this program...b) it would make sense that UF would take longer to mail out decisions being that we ARE at the BEST university (public) in the state and would probably have a ton of applicants c) I think it will work to the advantage of those who are outliers or waitlisted because those of you accept other schools with open up spots for those of us who are dying to get into UF d) the bit about April being busy for us who would have to complete immunizations, CPR training etc... We're adults. It's nursing school, right? A lot of those requirements are standard procedure for any nursing program. I totally understand those of you who had to make decisions prior to receiving the answer from UF. That's hard. But, you got into a nursing school, right?! That's great! Good luck! Now, other people have a chance to fill those spots. Ladies & gents, we should all be more careful about insulting the programs (esp. when the coordinator of the program can see it! eek!). Those who are waiting with me, let's *cross our fingers* and hope that we get good news tomorrow. If not, it's petition time, baby! I want in!
