  1. Hi, I applied to UNF and JU and got into both but chose JU. The interview was much more relaxing at JU...as long as you dress professional and be yourself you will be fine. I think it is a good idea to answer a couple of questions first but not all of them. I am on break right now if you have any other questions.
  2. When I Went to interview, the professor said some 2nd degree students drop down to the regular program if the schedule is too demanding. I think this is what you were asking. Also,JU has a 90% NCLEX pass rate. You might want to google your others schools rate. It is on a state of Florida web site.
  3. I received my email from JU regarding creating your JU electronic account. I created my username and password but I cant seem to figure out the windows live portion. If anyone has done this and can help me I would appreciate. I went to the windows live link and the email says to click on "sign in with a different windows live ID". I don't see this option and I'm not sure where to type in the windows live ID that JU gave me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. I am local so housing is not an issue for me. I will say that for non local students who are new to the area, JU is not located in the best part of town. There are nice new apartments located right off of 9A that are about 15 minutes from the school. Just do a search for apartments near 9A on the southside of town. It would be near the St. Johns Town Center (fun upscale outdoors mall). The beaches are fun but the drive would be longer.
  5. Hi, Just wondering if anyone accepted to the 2nd degree program lives in orange park or Fleming Island. Also, has anyone paid the $300 and started working on registering for classes?
  6. Letter was in mail toda. Deadline is Monday the 26th at 8am. I live 40 minutes away so everyone will probably get theirs tomorrow. Hope this helps. And I'm still undecided
  7. Futurebsn2b-- we are in the same boat then. I am trying to consider all factors but I am having a difficult time making a final decision. I'm scared to turn down either in case something falls through with other.
  8. Did anyone that apply for accelerated but got traditional also apply to JU 2nd degree and get accepted?
  9. Thanks. Mine went from departmental refer to admit.
  10. My status just changed to "admit" so apparently they are still updating until 5:00. But, I got in for traditional instead of accelerated so I'm not sure if I'm going to take it or take my spot at JU. It might be one spot for a wait listed applicant. I LOVE JU but don't know if I can stomach 43K in debt.
  11. Because of the spring break I would try posting something on the their facebook page. Recently she updated the status and it was late in the evening so maybe she would see that during the break. Mine still says departmental referral.
  12. Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you.
  13. I know this probably leaves you even more confused but she said they go pretty far down the list. Hang in there. Were you accepted anywhere else?
  14. Does it tell you which program you were admitted to or just "admit"?
  15. Anyone have a new status?
