UNC Chapel Hill ABSN - Summer 2022

Hey everyone,

I'm planning on applying to UNC Chapel Hill's ABSN next month in the hopes of getting accepted into the Summer 2022 cohort. Didn't see a thread for 2022 so I figured I'd start one. Good luck to everyone applying this year! Also, if you're currently in the program or have previously completed it, please feel free to add your experience, share your thoughts, etc. 

Honestly they probably got delayed because of the 3 suicides that happened the past two weeks. I know the university called off school one day this week.

I heard about that.. One is tragic enough, but three is unbelievable.

I agree, I think it’s been an unusually difficult and tragic week and all of that in the midst of everyone trying to regain a sense of normalcy.

I don’t know about you all, but I have been anxiously checking my email all day, even though I know we probably won’t find out till later in the week.

Same! I hate that it had to be “later next week” LOL. What more is there to decide

Just got my acceptance letter via email - check your email! Unfortunately, I'll be declining my offer since I've already committed to a program but that'll be one more open spot. Good luck everyone - hope you all get great news today!

I haven’t gotten anything either! Oh no… now I’m a nervous wreck.

I’m sure the emails will be trickling out over the next few days. They originally said they’d be sent out later this week so just keep checking often and I’m sure you’ll be just fine ?

Hope you all get in! Best of luck. I haven’t heard back either but I’m good to go with VA benefits for Duke so I’ll be there starting in the Spring.
