UNC Chapel hill ABSN 2016 !!!

Hey guy's. I wanted to go ahead and create a thread for everyone applying for the Absn program in 2016 at chapel hill. Please share your thoughts, concerns or anything you may want to talk about.

Today is also Columbus day! I didn't get any mail today!

I didn't get mail either.. Forgot it was a holiday!

Is it a postal holiday today? Means maybe Wednesday we find out?

I am so anxious this time around about letters, I feel like i'm going to have a stroke.. I'm thinking we'll find out later in the week because even if they send out letters today, snail mail means it'll take a few more days..

Hello all!

Just wanted to say good luck to everyone and to say not to worry too much this week, at this point it is what it is. Take a deep breath and if we get in that will be awesome but if not we will keep going forward. If you are passionate about this field you will become a nurse, things just aren't always on the timeline we hope for. With that said take care!

I finally caved and called the office because I'm too excited not to - portals should be updated Thursday or Friday, and since the letters went out yesterday (but really today because of the postal holiday) I'd guess the earliest anyone will hear will be tomorrow, or maybe today if you live in Chapel Hill.

Lol maybe if enough of us call they will update portals. I called too!

the office of undergrad admissions is in charge of the portals, not the nursing school. but if you give them a ring let us know! haha

That office is probably a black hole! Probably why it takes them 3-4 days to update the system!
