Just wanted to start this to for everyone applying to the UNC-CH ABSN Summer 2020 program.

Oh no! I hope they accept it! I'm nervous about my application as well, I don't feel like a competitive applicant but they are accepting over 100 students for this cohort which is reassuring. Where do you find your NursingCAS GPA?

If you go to your application and where you can download a PDF or print it it’s in there quite a few pages down!

Is anyone else less than thrilled with the NursingCAS GPA calculations? My education history is a little complicated and my cumulative natural sciences GPA is so much lower than I expected. My pre-req “science” GPA is high but I don’t even see a calculation for that anywhere on the report. Which science GPA are they weighing more?

I wasn’t too thrilled with the NursingCas GPA calculations either, Especially for the natural sciences. I think they account for all the science courses that are on your transcript and not just the science prerequisites.

I know we still have a while to wait for decisions, but does anyone know when they will be released? The FAQ page says 12-14 weeks after the deadline, but the curriculum page says the deadline was Oct 1 and we will find out in March 2020.

I heard directly that letters are scheduled to be sent week of Dec. 9th. I'm nervous because I am out of state. Hope that doesn't affect my chances.

I can't believe it will be December soon! I am trying to stay busy while waiting. I have my USPS informed delivery notifications on but might turn them off when December rolls around... I heard big envelope = good thing though.

Hope you all have a great holiday and I hope we can all share our good news in a few weeks ?
