Oh my gosh congratulations! Did they say how they choose people off of the waitlist when they let you know that you were no longer on the waitlist?

I paid the fee to hold my spot but I couldn't commit to paying that much for school. Im currently starting my local ADN program. Did you end up getting off the waitlist?

I got waitlisted too. Hopefully we get accepted.

I think we'll find out later in the week, letters are being sent out sometime this week. I'm counting down the days!

Oh no! I hope they accept it! I'm nervous about my application as well, I don't feel like a competitive applicant but they are accepting over 100 students for this cohort which is reassuring. Where do you find your NursingCAS GPA?

I'm still waiting for one of my transcripts to post to NursingCAS. Is anyone else in the same boat? I'm so nervous about this application.

Hey! I was accepted to Duke as well and decided not to go. It seems like a great program but it’s so expensive. Good luck applying to UNC! I saw in an email that they’re accepting 104 students this year.

I sent mine electronically and I got a confirmation that they were received and processed within about 5 days. I think the transcripts have to be received before you can apply but I would call UNC to double check. I hope it is received soon!

I haven’t gotten far as well! I’m still working on putting in all my transcript info. What other programs are you planning on applying to?

We have similar stats! I graduated with a history degree with a 3.37 and we have similar grades for our pre reqs! That’s an impressive list of volunteering experiences, I haven’t volunteered as much as you have. I do have a experience as a CNA. Have you started your essays yet?

I have read through the previous threads and I feel like UNC will be a stretch, I don't have the best grades. Have you applied to any other programs? I applied to Duke and got in but it's way too expensive.
