  1. https://facebook.com/groups/1439751462841006?ref=bookmarks&_rdr If the link doesn’t work, try searching for unc ABSN 2020
  2. I’ll attempt to make a group on Facebook. I’ll comment back with the link
  3. I got accepted! Congratulations to all those who did as well!
  4. I honestly haven’t been thinking about it too much. I’ve been kept busy with work so I try to spend my free time doing things that I enjoy so I’m not driving myself crazy checking the mail.
  5. I wasn’t too thrilled with the NursingCas GPA calculations either, Especially for the natural sciences. I think they account for all the science courses that are on your transcript and not just the science prerequisites.
  6. Oh no! Did they accept your application? I hope they did
  7. I just want to say good luck to everyone!
  8. I have. I have not gotten very far tho. How about you?
  9. I just recently graduated in May from UNC Charlotte with a biology degree. I finished with a 3.330, not bad but not stellar.. My school did not do the + and - grade scale but I have A's in anatomy II lecture and class, statistics, anatomy I lab and the US Diversity course. I got B's in anatomy I lecture, micro lecture and lab and general psychology. I was super involved on campus. I served as an orientation counselor, a mentor to first year and minority students, a representative in our student body government and various other organizations. I also have a lot of community service hours; I volunteered pretty consistently with various community groups all throughout my undergrad years. I recently just took a position as medical scribe at an orthopedic and sports medicine clinic, but I do not have any other patient care experience. I am definitely applying to other programs but Chapel Hill is definitely my first choice and the first program I will be applying for. Duke has an amazing program, it just sucks that its so expensive.
  10. Hey! Thanks for creating the thread. I am surprised more people have not posted. I am currently working on my application. Have you submitted yours yet?
