UMSON Spring 2015

Hello everyone! I may be a little early with this, but here's a new post for all of you hoping to apply this September 2nd for the Spring 2015 semester at UMSON. You can post questions you have, helpful advice you would like to give (if you're already in the program), etc.

I specifically have a question for those who have already applied to the Spring 2014 semester and got in. When you applied last September, when in November did you get your acceptance letter in the mail? Was it the beginning, middle, or toward the end of November? I'm asking this because the other nursing school I am applying to only gives a 3-week time period after the end of October (when they let you know if you made it in or not) to accept or decline enrollment. So, if I don't make it into UMSON, I'd want to be able to give this other nursing school an answer before the 3-week time period runs out.

I am so happy for you little mango. You've been very supportive on this thread and I foresee that you will be successful in your Nursing career.

I am following another thread on the UMSON CNL program, though I've been watching y'all here as well. I am still waiting for the MS decissions; they will not be out until mid November.

Hi y'all! I'm new to this website, but I've been wanting to join for awhile! I also applied for UMSON for the Spring, and I'm hoping to go to the Baltimore campus! My status still hasn't changed, and I check it probably 1000 times a day I'm going crazy. Fingers crossed that I find out tomorrow, I'm getting super nervous

I am in Micro and Nutrition right now, so if I get in I will also be a provisional:) Let's hope! I've been dying to go here, I even up and left my previous school, UNC Wilmington in North Carolina, to come home and go to nursing school!!!

Hey hegster! Congrats!! Does it say "Provisional Admit-Shady grove" or "Provisional admit-institution"?

"Provisional Admit". No institution listed, but I'd be surprised if I was admitted to Baltimore, I only applied to Shady Grove.

Oh guys Congrats! I am so excited for you. Mine still says committee ready. I have been holding my phone all day in case they called and checking surf. It is so never racking. Hope tomorrow brings good news for those of us who haven't heard yet.

Thank you littlemango! I really hope so, I am sooo nervous and don't know what I will do next semester if I don't get in. Tomorrow will hopefully be my day!! And I really like Nutrition, but Micro is killing me! I love the class, but my professor is so tough and her exams are brutal. You?!
