My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Same! Honestly, reading through last years thread made me feel better. It took about a week for everyone to hear back that was accepted. Even longer for waitlisted.
I did the same thing astran! Haha was looking for some sign that it's not over for us yet . Besides, Grey Lady did say that Friday was just the beginning of the decisions coming out so we still have plenty of time. I guess hearing everyone on here who got accepted already is getting me really anxious, heh.
There's probably plenty of people who aren't on this forum that received their decisions too... so let's stay hopeful that we will hear more decisions on here today.
Is there any order as to who hears about their acceptances first? Like those of you that heard already were probably most competitive? Or is it just random as to when acceptances are released...
Previously, I have seen that there is NO particular order in regards to acceptances. But, do not quote me on this, I think they send out all the acceptances before they begin notifying those waitlisted. So, really, as long as your status is not rejected or waitlisted, anything goes! Ahhh
.. I am anxious for you all. I am praying for more good news!
I guess if I don't hear anything the rest of this week it's safe to assume I either got waitlisted or rejected . I need to stop checking so much and just keep my mind off of it now. I feel like I'm going crazy haha.
Definitely give it a few days and do not count yourself out! A year or two ago I saw that some people didn't hear back until two or three weeks later than everyone else!
