REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
@nover I am still committee ready as well and feel your pain...this wait is ridic! I applied for the CNL program though. Hopefully something tomorrow...good luck.
Nover I was on the waitlist last semester. I had a gpa of 3.79 and a science gpa of 4.0. Then it dropped to 3.58 cause I was stressing about my admission lol.this time, I rewrote my essays and updated my resume . My teas wasn't good either. Have a 77%

I did not as I only requested information to be sent to me from UMSON (last year I applied and still lived in VA however I recently moved here and applied again). As a military family we move often so if I do not get in this year I will not be reapplying. It's hard to predict if my husband will remain here (I'm no longer in the military) and it's pointless to start a program and have to worry if the military will relocate us (that space can also be used for someone else).

We're in the same boat MiMi3. We'll be stationed there this summer. I'm applying for Spring though. I'll also be applying to Towson as well. You should apply there as well to give yourself more choices.
Off topic question. How competitive is Towson's nursing program? I'm waitlisted for the fall but I'm thinking of applying to other schools. UMSON is definitely my first choice but I need other options!

I have read that applications of people who were waitlisted will roll over to next semester and the fee will be waived. However, will that look bad that the applicant was waitlisted the previous semester? Would a fresh Spring 2016 application look better to admissions than a waitlisted Fall 2015 applicant? Thanks!
