REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
I have been accepted to the BSN program in Baltimore and just received my letter in the mail yesterday. It stated that I need to take Intro to Sociology before orientation. Does anyone know if I can take another sociology course online? Its called Deviant Behavior Sociology so its not an intro class.
Def call them on that one. When I went to the info session in January they passed out some information with what was required. For Psychology and Sociology it said any course in those fields (besides Lifespan because that is another requirement) I'm taking Sociology of Marriage and family. I had my transcripts evaluated and I'm good to go. Double check but I don't think is HAS to be an intro.
Can anyone answer my question. on my application it says application type complete ready for review and right underneath it says decision committee ready. Does that mean I'm committee ready or what?
Nover, I know the wait is very stressful. Hang in there and the fact that you havn't gotten a response doesn't mean you are rejected. And yes commitee ready means a decision is still to be made.
hi pinkeagle, do you need to sign into certified background before you see a list of the required immunization or is it listed somewhere on the website? i am trying to figure out all the immunizations we are required to have, please list them for me if you have an idea. thanks.
Make an account with certified profile and it will provide you with a to - do list that includes all required immunizations. I'd do that sooner rather than later, especially if you need CPR certification.
Nover I was on the waitlist last semester. I had a gpa of 3.79 and a science gpa of 4.0. Then it dropped to 3.58 cause I was stressing about my admission lol.this time, I rewrote my essays and updated my resume . My teas wasn't good either. Have a 77%
