REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
How are the interviews coming along??? I havent received an email yet, but im trying not to loose hope. I called and spoke to an admissions rep and she said just because I havent received an interview date by now doesn't necessarily mean I'll be rejected. soo, lets see.. good luck those interviewing these next couple weeks
Just decided to share some information with you guys. (Traditional BSN) I checked my application status online and it still says complete ready to review, so I decided to give them call and check on the status. With April approaching I was concerned that my status was not committee ready. I asked the representative when should I expect to receive a response and was told late April to early May. This has put me in a bind, I have been accepted at another school and they require a response and an enrollment fee by May 1st. I think I am going to wait as long as I can before accepting this offer because their enrollment fee is nonrefundable. I hope they provide us with a response in April.
Rosie43,
New student registration starts on May 8th. I think we would be able to get response about our admission status before the last week of April. Just hang in there and see what happens. You can go to the school on April 30th and complete all the process of accepting your admission if we don't hear anything by that time. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Did they say late April/Early May because of your status? Or is that the general timeline for everyone? I am also at Complete/Ready for Review for Traditional BSN. I called about 3 weeks ago and was told by someone else that decisions would be ready much earlier than late April/Early May, so now I am confused. I am in the same situation--I have another school that I need to respond to by May 1st. I am anticipating just putting the deposit down there and then losing it if UMSON comes thru with an acceptance and some aid.
Hi, I'm applying for the BSN program for Spring and I've been getting impatient, which led me to this thread.I have a 3.55 GPA, and if you don't count some old courses from almost 10 years ago, then I have a 3.83. A's in all the sciences except Chem, which I am currently taking.
92%/99th percentile on 1st attempt at TEAS.
18 months of experience as a CNA in a LTCF.
People are telling me not to worry, but that's not working. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who is still stuck at "Complete Ready for Review," and that it could possibly go from that straight to a phone call. I would not have known that there is a "Committe Ready" status if it weren't for this thread. By the way, does anybody know what the status reads if you are turned down? Is it DENIED, DECLINED, REJECTED, DREAM ON?
My application was in on time, but one of my letters of recommendation had to be resent, and so my application was not marked as complete until Feb. 13th. I see that someone else had to resend one of their letters - how do they lose something like that? Did it get thrown in the trash? Is it under somebody's desk?
I also applied to Towson, but I haven't from them yet either. So it may be mid-April for UMSON? Eh.
Thanks to everyone who has posted here; I've found a lot of great info!
I am not sure but I think it just says something like Decision: Rejected. Don't quote me lol. My letters were not received either and I had to have 2/3 resent and my application wasn't complete till very late. I heard from Towson last week and the deposit is due April 13th no time! I think I'll have to let that school go. They have a 200$ deposit for nursing and a 300$ deposit for the school itself I believe so I can't throw 500 away like that. I am already seeing that I'll probably have to put down a deposit for the 3rd school I applied to since that is due by May 1 and I am not sure if we will hear from UMSON in time.
