UMSON fall 2016 hopefuls ?

Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.

Can those accepted into the BSN program let us know when you receive the call from Grey Lady (for Shady Grove students) or from Baltimore? I remember last time people were admitted and received their calls within the next week... and I received my Waitlisted status one week after people got their acceptances-- which is why I have a feeling I've been Waitlisted again.. and hope not flat out rejected :cry:

I wont get a call :( my phone number on my application mysteriously got its last 2 digits missing lol, so it's not right. Patiently waiting for my letter :|

and please, don't give up! I was reading a past UMSON thread, and some people got their acceptance status after may 15! If it doesn't change, there's still hope! ❤️❤️❤️

I think you will have to ask someone in the admissions office to do that for you. I called the Help Desk and they told me that you will be able to edit your personal information after you are registered for classes. I did not know that.

That's right - as long as your status is not Rejected, you are still in the running. As offers of admission are accepted, seats are filled. As offers of admission are turned down, seats open up and people are taken off the Wait List. This may go on throughout the summer probably through July. About 20 - 25% of an incoming class, on average, is wait listed.

ahhhh i applied to the main campus and i have been clicking refresh all morning. I just wish they told us sooner. It would make the nursing school preparations easier. I got into HCC nursing and I am just waiting on Maryland to tell me something. So i know if should start the requirements like vaccines, background checks and all for Howard Community College

I called. Ms. Jackson and she told me that we should expect decisions by the second week of May. But I really want a phone call for an interview! I'm getting so nervous

Did they say if they are still giving out interviews?? Or are they done with the CNL interviews and just waiting to send out the rejections.... :no:

Hey everyone! I've been reading this thread for many weeks now as I have been anxiously awaiting a decision from the school and it felt good knowing I wasn't alone! I just wanted to let you all know that I just saw on SURFS that I have been admitted for the traditional BSN program at Baltimore, so for those who applied to that location, you should be finding out soon!!! All the best :)
