UMSON fall 2016 hopefuls ?

Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.

Question to @ GreyLady :

I don't have a Facebook account, haven't had one since 2011. Reading from the past threads, it looks like being on the Facebook school page is important for updates and announcements etc... So is it okay if I make a dummy account just for school? Like it would be me, but not my real name and my info or anything like that. Would that be okay?

CNL applicants: any news about interviews? I got nothing last week :unsure:

@Shal94 I haven't heard anything about CNL interview either. It's almost May.. that's so ridiculous. I have never heard of people waiting till May to find out!! I'm just moving ahead with my other nursing school checklist.

Not contacted yet for an interview. I am frankly just so tired of the wait. I have never heard of a nursing program to take this long. At this point people should be making deposits for other nursing schools. I already got into one nursing program, but I am holding it off because I really want to know where I stand with UMD! Hopefully we hear something this week

I will be setting up a secret Facebook group for your class fairly soon and will invite everyone in your class to join it. There will also be some current students who like to mentor new students in our group as well as Guided Study Session leaders. I stay in the group just to answer questions and make sure that the info that is posted there is correct. We have been doing this for five or six years and it has been really useful.
