UMSON fall 2016 hopefuls ?

I check my email first thing every morning but nothing Do you guys think they will let us know before May at least? The first CNL interviews were back in March :down:

Shal94, are you also checking your application status? I saw I was accepted there but still have not received an email.

shal94, I received a pretty generic email listing times for the interview, but nothing changed on my application at that time. emilych, I finally received an "acceptance email" about three weeks after my online application updated and about two weeks after I received the physical letter...so it all wasn't timed that great haha.

I havent even heard back about an interview I called a few days ago and Ms Jackson said that they are still in the process of reviewing my application and that they have quite a few applications to go through still. And she said my application was "Committee Ready" in the last week of March so she said that people who already got in had their stuff processed in February. On my application status it still says "Committee Ready"

Ugh I had all my stuff in before Feb 1, that's why I'm wondering why I haven't heard for an interview. Do you think I should call them and ask?

I feel like if you call them they're just going to say what others have been told about currently processing more applications... but if it gives you piece of mind you should :yes: . They're probably used to applicants calling and checking in anyway :up: .

I feel like if you call them they're just going to say what others have been told about currently processing more applications... but if it gives you piece of mind you should . They're probably used to applicants calling and checking in anyway .

I think I am. Because people who applied by Feb 1 have got interviews/heard back. So I feel like I should be scheduled for an interview. I applied to BSN last year and it took them forever to get back to me/people already found out a month before and I got wait listed. So I rather just find out my decision now than wait forever to find out I've been waitlisted.

When I called last week she said my application was "in review" currently. If we got waitlisted or rejected, I wish they would just tell us or change the SURFs status instead of leaving us hanging:no: Honestly, I am still hoping for an interview! I hope by the end of this month, we will all have the opportunity to interview at least.

I agree!! I purposely made sure I applied before priority deadline just so I can avoid the same situation all over again. I feel like I'm getting looked at last again I hope we all get an interview before April is done because it has been a long wait and people have to start putting deposits for other schools.

@shal94 The interview dates I got were only for a 2 day period in March with multiple time slots. I'm guessing when they email groups of candidates for interviews they do it in these groupings over a short time span. The interview slots were in 30 minute blocks though on a Monday and Tuesday, usually starting around 10 and ending at 2 or 3. It could be different now that they're getting through more interviews and applications though. I hope you hear soon!

If anyone who is still waiting for CNL does end up calling, please let us know if they say we can expect to hear back before May! I have to put a deposit down at another school if this doesn't work out :unsure:
