UMSON CNL Applicants for Spring 2015

Published

Hi All!

Starting a thread for CNL Applicants for Spring 2015! I'm very new to this website but looking forward to giving and receiving support though the application process. I've submitted my application already, pretty early I know, so I may not hear anything from them in for a while!

My undergrad degree was Biology from Towson, anyone else with similar background?

B.

I got my call! I am in as well! I am so happy right now!

I will be commuting from Silver Spring so about 40 minutes without traffic. I am looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi everyone!

I've been reading this thread for a while now. I got my call today!

I'm looking forward to meeting and working with all of you in the spring!

I got my call as well!! Congrats all =] I'm so excited to get started, fortunately My drive isn't too far from Elkridge, but I'm sure traffic will still be killer =\ enjoy the time we have off!

Ahhhhhhh everyone we rock

:coollook:

congratulations to all who are in so far

I was so overwhelmed when she called to let me know that I am in, I didn't actually ask any important questions... Does anyone know when we will be getting all the info? THe form we have to sign with the deposit, our student ID numbers, etc?

You will get an official letter in the mail box, this should come with instructions on how to proceed. You would have to pay a deposit and then I guess after this payment along with some other documentations, you would be given instructions on student ID and other requirements.

@ zolo

my counsellor said they were mailing a packet the following day with all necessary documents including the acceptance/deposit payment paperwork. Also, we will have an online orientation. Two sessions are available for which we would have an opportunity to choose one.

Congrats everyone! While I can't speak to the new curriculum, I CAN speak to the reorganization of classes and it will be much less intense then it used to be. They moved classes around so it's a lot better. Also, you all won't be doing it in 16 months, which might not have been my best decision ever, but IT'S ALMOST OVER!!!!!

Anyway, I suggest making your own Facebook group (if you all have Facebook) as it's been extremely helpful throughout the program for my cohort.

Congrats again!!

Thanks smoup, how will you rate the program so far? Also your career chances after school, I gave up offers for PA school for this...... hopefully I am not making a mistake

Goodmorning,

@smoup thanks for sharing about the class organization. If I understand from their website we are taking 15 units for most of the semesters and the program runs two years right? Are there any changes to that?

I'm not very much a facebook person but I won't mind getting guidance on how to create a group for our cohort. Who is up to this? Right now I am going to do my BLS training to renew my certificate.

I'll be back soon

I'd be more than happy to create the Facebook page if anyone else is interested.
