UMSON CNL Applicants for Spring 2015

Hi All!

Starting a thread for CNL Applicants for Spring 2015! I'm very new to this website but looking forward to giving and receiving support though the application process. I've submitted my application already, pretty early I know, so I may not hear anything from them in for a while!

My undergrad degree was Biology from Towson, anyone else with similar background?

Julesbaby1 you are right that we will not hear until a week or two from today.

I am currently taking Statistics, English Literature, and tutoring Microbiol & Chemistry. I realize although I'm busy with school I can't stop checking on SURFS hahaha.

I live one hr away though, does anyone have an idea about getting the best accommodation advantage, I have no idea what the commute would be and if I can basically come from home.

I also live about an hour thirty away in Clarksburg, MD though my family is planning to move to a new home. I've been to Baltimore once and so far I believe I will commute from home except I change my mind to rent near campus.

Does anyone know when is the start date of Spring 2015? I have this question since I plan have a vacation January 16 to 25. I don't want to miss any classes if I am accepted. Thanks.

I checked out information on their website and the class starts 26th of January, however as a new student, I figure there'll be lots to do regarding establishing, residency and registering for the classes prior to that date.

Received my call at 08:15 a.m. and status now says "Admit Institution"

@ Bealadybug congrats for your admission!

My family recently moved to Burtonville, MD, so I am even closer to the Baltimore area. My commute to Baltimore now is only 35-42 mins. Anyone planning to commute or something :)

i am so looking forward to the start of school. It's funny how I am currently in school still taking some prereqs and tutoring Microbiol and Chem. Yet I am ready for the hard work in Nursing school.

Anyone else heard something? I keep my fingers crossed for you all

Congrats to fellow Spring 2015 CNL students. My status has changed to Admit-Institution. I also have a 45 mins commute from bowie and I am still taking Organic chemistry 1 and Genetics at two different schools. But I am so excited.........., the wait is finally over, see y'all in January
