UMSON CNL Applicants for Spring 2015

Hi All!

Starting a thread for CNL Applicants for Spring 2015! I'm very new to this website but looking forward to giving and receiving support though the application process. I've submitted my application already, pretty early I know, so I may not hear anything from them in for a while!

My undergrad degree was Biology from Towson, anyone else with similar background?

Are the interviews a required part of the admissions process? I haven't heard anything about the interview yet and am getting worried!

Yes they are a part of admissions process. It says on their website. Just Be patient you would be emailed hopefully :)

Congrats to all those who have gotten interview invites! I'm not sure how long it takes them to send them all out but I was terrified the semester I applied because I didn't hear back when people on here did. As hard as it was, I just had to patient.

They said we should know mid November, I had a pretty awful dream last night I got a rejection letter! I definitely need to take it easy & try not to think about it.

I just had my interview. It went well. We should hear from admissions early November. Good luck to everyone while hoping for our very best.

I wore professional attire (a suit) for my interview, came prepared to talk about my background and why I wanted to attend UMSON over the other schools I had been accepted to, why I wanted to be a CNL, and ready to provide the short writing sample. It worked for me. Good luck!

Hi Everyone, I have also applied for the spring 2015 cnl class, my interview went well, and I believe my essay went well too. My application status says, committee ready under decision, I hope this is a good sign, I am applying to only UMSON and UVA. Hope I get accepted and Good luck to every other applicant out there.

After my interview (I did get invited for one, yay!) I was told the decisions would be issued mid November. What did everyone hear about the timeline for decisions? The waiting is so hard!

When I was interviewed the faculty said in early November I should hear about a decision. I recently contacted the school of Nursing and my counsellor answered that decisions will not be made until mid-November. So we have about two more weeks to wait.

It appears we are all too busy to post on here and I understand our busy schedules. . .

Please can we atleast keep each other informed as the days are slowly coming.

I think it's safe to say that 15th of Nov would be a good time to start checking application status, because that was what they implied at the interview stage. Good luck to all applicants and see you all in January (I hope).
