I will be applying for the Fall 2011 program at UMB really really soon. I was wondering if anyone else was doing the same...? I'm really nervous about applying because Anatomy really kicked my butt last semester and I ended up getting a C (even though I ended up doing really well on my other science courses). Now, I'm losing hope. Anyone feeling the same?
Do you know anything about the RN-BSN program?
Just what I mentioned earlier about your wait being longer than the BSN wait.
Hang in there, they really do look over everything (which stressed me to no end as my essay had unfourtnate timing), and it takes alot longer to compare qualitative data than quantative data (I am great with math, but not with spelling so forgive me if I mistyped). I am sure everyone on here (WTE of that one applicant out-there with the 4.0 and the 99%ile on the TEAS) appericates the method that UMB uses.
Wow thats alot of peranths, sorry about that.
I just wanted to post for those of you still waiting (esp for mombaktoschool) that my status changed today to waitlisted.
I am pretty disappointed, but I was still in a few last pre-req's, so I'm hoping that is all that was holding me back.
Anyway, maybe the rest of you who are still waiting will have status changes today too.
I will continue to wait, but I don't know if there is any way to find out where I am on the waitlist or not.

Hi! I am sorry that you weren't accepted right away, but you are right to not give up hope. There are many reasons that people cannot attend, even once they pay their deposits. If I do not get accepted to my military commissioning program, I will not be attending either, despite the fact that I already paid the deposit and have accepted my spot (I will know in June). The point is that there are many things that come up at the last minute, so it isn't the end of the world yet. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you; keep your chin up!
