I will be applying for the Fall 2011 program at UMB really really soon. I was wondering if anyone else was doing the same...? I'm really nervous about applying because Anatomy really kicked my butt last semester and I ended up getting a C (even though I ended up doing really well on my other science courses). Now, I'm losing hope. Anyone feeling the same?
Hello fellow nursing applicants ,
I have been following the forum in the recent months but never posted. I applied to the CNL @ UMDB for Fall 2011 and I am awaiting the decision, just as many still are Anyhow, I just wanted to add something about the CNL program that I haven't read anywhere else, we are supposed to be selected for a interview if they are interested in us. Has anyone been contacted for an interview? I noticed the note on the the website that starting with the Fall 2011 class minimally qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview during the selection process. I was just wondering if anyone has received calls or letters for a interview. I don't think they are going to post our decisions on-line until they interview us but, it is just a guess. If anyone has any thoughts or input I would love the feedback. If you are still reading this thread GreyLady, I would love to hear your input. Good Luck to all accepted already. Hopefully those of us who are still biting our nails and pulling the last few strands of hair we have left out will hear something, ANYTHING, really soon.
Does anyone know by what date we have to put a deposit down to hold our spot? I know I'm in, but I still haven't received an acceptance letter with all the details and I was too excited to remember to ask my admissions counselor such questions. Doh! I know I could call, but didn't want to bother admissions if someone knew on this forum.
Thanks in advance!

for the spring it was this - you have two weeks from the date of your letter to get your deposit in - for us with was $400 USD.
Hang on everyone- I didn't find out in the first round of acceptances, either. As soon as I had given up all hope, and resorted to following Plan B, my status changed to "accepted." Hang in there; it doesn't mean anything yet!Good luck!
i think that i stated somewhere on here before - i was not accepted my first time around - and i had to wait around to find out that i was rejected. When i applied the second time, i was accepted in the first round! Just try to remember to breathe deeply!

I really wish I could help but am afraid not - the graduate application-admission process is totally separate from the BSN and I just don't know a thing about it. Best of luck, though.
