Ok guys, this is the new thread for everyone who is applying to the UMB FALL 2010, BSN or CNL Program . Good luck to all.
Has everyone's status gone: Complete Ready for Review?
I am betting that it depends on when you turned in your application and what path you chose. I applied for the CNL Program and my application status was "Complete" in late October 2009. I noticed that my status changed to "Committe Ready" in late January or the beginning of February... if I remember correctly. Anyway, I wouldn't worry, there is still plenty of time, especially with the snow and all...good luck guys..
Mine hasn't changed to "Committee Ready" yet either. Grey Lady, is that normal? Thanks for your help!
Not to worry, it is perfectly normal. It might even be that your status really is Committee Ready but nobody has been able to update it in the system yet. With all this weather it would be reasonable to assume that the process is somewhat behind. Best of luck to all of you!
WOW!!!... thanks Grey Lady and Sewnew. I understand, catching up is painful! We received snow last Thursday and Friday here in Dallas that set an all-time record for snow in the history of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It was not nothing to me because I'm from Maryland and it really only made me miss home.
Good luck with catching up guys!

Grey Lady,How are you? Any updates on the status of our applications? Are they back in session with decision-making? Any idea how many applicants there are for the fall? Thanks in advanced.
MLH
I do not know exactly how many applications there were - normally we receive between 2 & 3 per slot for spring and between 3 & 4 for fall, but those numbers don't really tell you anything. What you want to know, and it is unknowable for any one human being, is what your competition is like. We could have lots of applications which include lots of rejections, or we could have fewer appliations with very few rejections. It is a different game every semester. Like I said - it is unknowable. The committees are meeting but it is slow going as we are all making up for lost (snow) time - everybody is overwhelmed with their regular responsibilities. I would not bother to check your status for at least a couple of weeks. Sorry - I know you are all dying to find out. Hang in there!

Is it bad if mine has not changed to "committee ready" yet????
