Oh and if anyone can give me a good idea about a good TEAS score for the BSN that'd be wonderful. I don't see that UMD has a minimum score.
There really is not a minimum, but they are looking for at least the national average around 70. More than that helps, less than that hurts your chances.

HELLO ALL!!
I am new to this thread. I'm just wondering statistics about the students who have been accepted into the program: GPA, pre-req GPA, volunteer work, previous degrees, etc.
I'm from Maryland but am currently attending College of Charleston. I started off a chemistry major (I am currently a junior) and I have realized this is not what I want to do with my life!!! The typical mid-college crisis. Anyways, nursing is my new goal and I don't want to waste my time or money getting a degree in something I don't want to do anything with and BSN sounds perfect to me. I'm looking at schools to apply to but I want to know how I stand in comparison to other applicants so any information will help!
THANKS!!

Hi all! I realize this thread is old, but I'm curious if any past students are willing to give up any parking secrets you may know of. I don't mind walking a little ways (the garage they offer seems to be a good distance from campus anyway), but I would prefer not to pay to park. Some days I will only be there for one class and $5 each day adds up. Do you know of any streets near by that aren't metered or residential? Thanks in advance!!!

I am a former UMB student and I frequently took the train instead of spending a fortune on parking (and gas!). Both the Metro Subway and Lightrail have stops that are relatively close to UMB. One way ticket is $1.60, round trip $3.20. The parking office at UMB sells monthly passes for the MTA at a reduced rate as well. Best of luck to you.
Thanks sewnew! I would definitely take the light rail/metro if I had a stop near me, but I'm traveling from Annapolis so that probably won't work out, but I appreciate the reply none the less! :0)
