UMB 2010 Fall Applicants (BSN and CNL)

Ok guys, this is the new thread for everyone who is applying to the UMB FALL 2010, BSN or CNL Program . Good luck to all.

Has everyone's status gone: Complete Ready for Review?

Hey Fall 2010 applicants, just wanted to let everyone know my status just changed today, it did say ready for review, now under that it says Decision: committee ready. So hopefully they are begining the final decision making process. Although I called Monday and they told me we could expect decisions to be end of march-begining of april, because of the snow of course. Good luck to everyone! This is a tough wait :monkeydance:

Hey everyone-- I'm applying for the fall 2010 CNL. :) Have any of you gotten your shots or CPR certification yet? I'm wondering if I should just wait until I hear about getting in or not...

I believe we are supposed to wait until just before beginning the program to take CPR because our certification has to remain valid throughout the duration of the two-year program. I don't know about you, but I think that is great advice; I'm not interested in spending the hours to re-cert during my last semester of nursing school! :uhoh3:

As far as the shots, I will wait for more information about what we need from the school and take care of it then.

Good luck everyone! I hope we hear back timely this semester; I know the Spring cohort was pretty upset about how long they had to wait for a decision. Here's hoping for the best for all of us!

Mine doesn't say that yet. :( But greylady seems to think it's not important at this stage. I'll take her word for it!

Any bets on when we will actually hear? The first week of April?

Yea, Im guessing they are updating them to committee ready as they complete the initial review for meeting minimum requirements. Im thinking we won't hear till the first week in April sometime, wishing it was more like the 2nd or 3rd week in March though. Never know I guess....

My status does not say "committee ready" yet either...Still says "complete ready for review."
