UMass Dartmouth ABSN 2021

Published

Can anyone give me any information for the accelerated BSN program at UMass Dartmouth? I am applying for the 2021 Fall class. Thanks!

I also applied but have not heard back on anything yet. My materials were completed on January 5th but I believe their due date is in February so I don’t think we hear back until March.

Thanks! Do you know anyone who has gone through the program before?

I know a few people that got their normal 4 year nursing degree from here but not the accelerated program.

Do you know if the school have a good nursing program, overall?

All of my friend passed the NCLEX and didn’t have any complaints other than a few teachers so I’m assuming it’s good. I don’t know any actual stats on the program though

I did email someone and they said they starts reviewing apps close near their feb 15 due date and acceptance/rejection is estimated to be late March/early April which stinks because all my other programs I find out earl6 feb and would have to put a deposit down early March before hearing from here

I applied to one other school, in Florida, and find out at the end of February. I don't know if that school requires any sort of deposit of I accept, though. I'm considering not accepting because I would have to go with my children, and without my husband. It's a great school, though, so I would hate to not accept if they accepted me into the program. So, I'm trying to weigh the two programs.

I applied to three schools in Boston but they were NP programs and I applied here as a cheaper alternative in case I either don’t get in to the NP programs because theyre competitive or if they cost too much after aid/scholarships. I wanted to be in reasonable driving distance so I don’t have to move. Did you already take the TEAS or know how heavily they look at those scores?

Hi everyone. Just wanted to see if anyone has an idea of how many people they accept and if anyone knows what score the school is looking for in the TEAS ?

I’m not sure what score they specifically look for as I didn’t see a minimum listed but according to ATI I believe the average was 65 nationally and through research most schools require at least a 70. I got a 93 on it but my GPA isn’t great so I’m hoping they look at the app as a whole rather than each thing individually.

I don't know what they're looking for. I applied to UF in Florida, as well, and I know that they look at the application holistically. I'm hoping that UMASS does the same. Though, UF required a lot more for their application than UMASS.
