I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
Hi! is it okay to leave my end of employment date blank on my reference form for employer(nmc stage 1 assessment)? i'm still currently employed with the institution and have no plans yet to file resignation until I receive my DL...thanks once again!!

when I had my stage 1 assessment, i put my end of employemnt the date I filled the form even I was still employed then . Dont leave it blank. Thank you.
I'm new here too! I'm an RN from Canada and am in the beginning stages of my application, still waiting on my IELTS results. Can anyone say how long it takes after you finish your eligibility portion until you hear that you can write the CBT?

As far as I can remember as soon as you get the IELTS passing result you can register for CBT with the latest possible schedule at Pearsonvue... You just have to complete what NMC requires and will redirect you to the Pearsonvue page through email... Depends on the availability... I got one friend who took the CBT just days after she got her IELTS results...
Anyone here tried sending docs from prc to uk thru regular mail? I'm a bit worried coz it might get lost. Any advice ? Or should I send it again via express mail?

I highly suggest that you use Fedex or DHL, it's a little pricey but it will speed up the process of your documents getting to Nmc.. However if you choose the regular mail, do not expect it to be delivered in a week.. 😃 Still, it's up to you..

I called NMC today regarding the documents submitted. One form is not reflected as received in the portal and the agent who answered my call said they did not receive the document (employer reference form 2) while the other documents were marked as received even though all the forms were submitted together.
I was just wondering if any of you experienced the same problem:
The 'This document has been received' note disappeared on my Registration Authority Verification. PRC sent it via FedEx last Feb 3 and was uploaded in the portal on Feb 17 (with the note that its been received). Right after I clicked on 'Submit' last Feb 24, it wasn't there already. I thought of it as a system glitch so I just ignored it but up until now, it still isn't reflecting back as a document they received.
Two of my friends already got their DL recently and they submitted all the forms on the 2nd week of March so I am a little worried since NMC received and uploaded all my docs last Feb 24.
