I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
Same thing happened to me when they asked me to upload the police clearances and send another health declaration. You can attached your police clearances into word document then save it as pdf. The customer service told me that I have to wait for another 4-6 weeks because of that but I sorted out mine in just a week.
Melcahussey, thank you so much! Please do update me on what NMC says. Is it true that they'll pay more attention to our application if we keep on calling them to follow up?
I have waited nearly 2 months before I heard a response from them, asking for another Health Dec and my Police clearances as I have submitted a wrong one. So after that, they told me that I will be put again on queue and have to wait for 4-6 weeks but after calling them and bombarded them with questions they sorted mine a week after there email of further documents required
Hi jm014. It seems that NMC responds faster if we keep calling them to followup our application. I think I'll do that, constantly call them to followup the status of my application. Thank you for your guidance! Good luck to us, and I hope we get our decision letters soon :)

hi Gsimps..i was on assessment queue since 7th of july.and i was asked to submit uk pcc on sep 4th. i was put back on queue on the 18th sep. and received my DL on 3rd nov. the second wait was 6 and a half weeks
Thank you , I am on the same situation of resubmitting UK pcc, this waiting process is frustrating. Well, 6 weeks isnt so bad, hopefully they won't ask for more additional documents. Congratulations btw on receiving your DL.
