  1. Hi, book a regular appointment and bring the Health Declaration form with you and kindly ask your GP to fill it out. Some GPs charge for it, e.g £20-30.
  2. Thank you , I am on the same situation of resubmitting UK pcc, this waiting process is frustrating. Well, 6 weeks isnt so bad, hopefully they won't ask for more additional documents. Congratulations btw on receiving your DL.
  3. Hi there just wondering how long did it take you to receive the DL? Thanks
  4. I am based in London as well and very much interested in joining the group. Let's keep in touch.
  5. Hi there, I have the same dilemma as you, I have the same message for two of my documents, though I have contacted NMC about this and have been told not to take any action as my file is already on the queue. However, on the other forum some people are told to send all the blank forms as they needed the bar codes in order for them to start assessing their file. I have yet to confirm again with NMC what is the best thing to do.
  6. Does it mean you send the blank forms through the post? Coz I was advised not to submit anything anymore but have got the message in my portal. Ta.
  7. Hi I have 2 documents that says the same message, from what I understood from it is that they have received it twice and scanned it twice as 2 of the same documents have been reflected on my portal. Best to clarify with NMC tho.
  8. Hi there, the admin is right, HCA is not in the skilled jobs category of the UKBA so there are rarely companies that sponsor working permits for HCA jobs. If you're moving to the UK on family grounds then yes you can work as HCA whilst applying for your registration.
  9. Hi so basically every department in NHS have got a Practice Educator which are specialist Nurses who support members of staff for trainings and professional development. If you happen to be working for NHS (I live in the UK) then you should have a team of Practice Educators in the hospital that you can liaise with.
  10. Hi I dont have any physical materials on hand atm, but I will try and ask for some materials and guidelines then I will share it as soon as I get hold of any. Will email you some info. @petrickRN
  11. I have just attended an OSCE Simulation training in my Trust, it is very helpful as you can have the feel and know what to expect on the day of the exam, Im currently working as an HCA in NHS so I would recommend for anyone in the UK working for NHS to contact your Practice Educator to book you in for trainings, these are normally for Student Doctors and Nurses. There are different scenarios and actors and actual dummy who talks, which will greatly help for the exam.

  13. Hi I am an overseas nurse too from the Philippines and have just finished submitting all my documents to the NMC. I just want to ask if you already have a permission to take the OSCE? And how long did you have to wait for all your documents to be assessed? Thanks.
  14. Hi @ac_13baboy my email is [email protected]. I forgot my last comment on here so just please remind me. Thanks.
