Hi People
I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
All documents were sent to NMc and remarked has been received yesterday. What's next? How will i know if my application is in the assessment queue?
I think you're already in the assessment queue by the time all documents were received by NMC. How long did you wait until everything's received as reflected in your account? I sent mine last week.

First sret of docs received june 3 but was updated june 23. Last set of docs received June 9 and online form submitted but was updated yesterday. Are the files uploaded in the nmc account be updated with the "this doc has been received" too?
Hi. I am from Asc Global. Submitted my ol application first week of April. Processed the necessary docs. Some docs were noted received 2nd to 3rd week april while my school docs and declaration of good health were only noted "received" 3rd week of June. Any idea how long will it take to get my permission to take OSCE?
Also, any update on UK immigration rules? Anyone got their COS already? Seems that there is a limit on how many cos can be approved for each month?
I waited for 105 days before hearing any feedback from NMC. turns out one of my documents wasn't okay and needed to be re-submitted. apparently, this means i go back to the beginning of the queue to wait for my one document to be assessed because their system is incompetent.
Since june there's been a change in the number of visas allowed, so i've heard that a lot of CoS applications are being rejected.
Hope we get the decision letter soon K Kaur. Our agency told us that waiting time is around 30 to 75 days.
@foxtrotunicorn: Thats too bad.. So, NMC did not notify you in the beginning that there is a problem with your doc? If I may, would you share what they find wrong with your doc? Does that mean that in case one of my documents need to be fixed, they will not tell right away? They will let you wait for too long only to know that something needs to be fixed and you need to go back to step 1?
Too bad :/
Thy need one more reference from my employer and the police Clearence I submitted , it gone expired.bcz it took tht long to do assessment . Now on 9june I submitted these documents and waiting. I m sick wth waiting.
