I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
I (like most of you) am in the assessment queue awaiting for clearance for the OSCE!! Anyone heard words of advice from anyone who has taken it!? I'm anxious to prepare for the exam but it feels difficult to do so when I have no clue when I'll even be able to take it. This has been such a waiting game!

Hi....I am also with MMA recruitment and I am awaiting the decision letter...crossing my fingers that it be soon. I was transferring from the old system so lets hope all my documents which were transferred are still in order...and they are not getting outdated while waiting to be assessed...
Glad to meet you guys here. Im still on the full assessment and application stage. I started to process my docs last March and until now Im not yet done. Im having a terribly hard time processing my Saudi license registration verification. I hope this gets sorted out soon.
Also glad to meet you guys here. I too am with MMA. Where I'm at: CBT done,all documents in and received by NMC and now awaiting to get response for my OSCE. MMA recently contacted me and assured me it won't be long. Judging from other correspondents on the site, it can be any day now. The waiting is fattening....
Just recieved a call from one of my friends who is also in the assessment stage. Her good health declaration form was filled by a doctor in the same hospital where she worked. He has marked YES to the question "whether you have employed the applicant in any capacity? "
Now NMC has sent her a mail asking for clarification. It seems that she should re-send the form . Has anyone faced such problem?

My documents were received on the 1st week of March. I validated this through phone call and they also told me that my application started to be on the assessment queue on March 11.
congrats to everyone recieving decision letters. I have just received mine and I'm booked for my OSCE next Wednesday. Does anyone recommend any study material?!!!
