UIC Fall 2021 BSN Program

Updated:   Published

I submitted my app for UIC yesterday. I'm anxious for the result. So for anyone else who applied what is your GPA and your extracurricular activities? I'm a transfer student with a 3.2 GPA and I've worked at an animal hospital for 3 years.
I got denied last year due to my GPA so I'm just trying to figure out my chances, and where I can improve if I get denied again. ?

I did not get an email at all! And the status of my application just says submitted. Did anyone else not get an email?

Hi

Did you get a response after sending that email?

I am yet to hear back also. I don’t know if that’s good or bad news

Hello everyone,

Did anyone get a physical decision letter mailed to them?

Hi,

please inform us if you get accepted. To those like me who got waitlisted

Hey, I got an email today asking if I was still interested in the program, because a few spots opened up at the Springfield campus. I have until Monday to let them know.

IDK if I'm going to take it. I was getting prepared to move to ISU for MLS. If it was the Chicago campus, I would have accepted it but Springfield is farther away.

don't blame you Springfield is extremely far. I continued at NIU instead since the chicago campus is packed and barely has any spots open for anyone from what it seems like.

I agree, Springfield is super far but if you got accepted to ISU that’s amazing!! their nursing program is super competitive too and it’s a great school!

I didn't get into ISU nursing program. They denied me for their program ? but accepted me as a student. All the schools I applied for denied me which I can't blame them. I'm an average student (3.2 GPA and no sports/clubs).

I'm going to do their medical laboratory science. I enjoyed the lab portion of working at an animal hospital.

Hi, I've gotten an email from UIC, They asked if I am still interested in the program and I should reply by Monday. I applied for the Chicago Campus.

Are they giving you a spot at the Chicago campus or Springfield?

I chose only the Chicago campus when I was signing the waitlist form. Since Springfield is far from me.
